game1
Optimize for long chains
Remove short chains of blocks to clear the way for long chains of blocks, which will provide booster for you.

Let wild guys clear the mess
The wild guys are booster blocks that clear all blocks of a certain color. It’s tempting to pick the color that is dominating the screen, but use the wild guys to clear blocks that are in the way of long chains instead.

Use bombs wisely
Save the bombs for when you catch long chains of blocks or a powerful point multiplier is available. By using the bombs on short chains, you will clear some more blocks but will risk breaking other, long chains of blocks instead.

There your go! Now go play Catch the Cubies like a pro! Don’t forget that you get new energy every hour, which you use to play the game. You can also send a boost of energy to anyone of your friends for free.

Typical group of programmers: lack business focus and jump from project to project. Catch the Cubies isn’t going to make you rich off micro transactions like you hoped – its like every other game. Go back to your game that became immediately popular and release updates before people lose interest. Just saying, 99 cent angry birds games get 20 updates. Learn what you’re good at and model your business around that… making a business model for something you haven’t tested or had proven success with? Programmer pipe dreams.

I’m sorry you feel that way Matt. We actually build games that we want to play and since we are a diverse group of people, that means different games. It’s not all about money but of course we like making a living off of our games. Some we charge for and some will live off of in app purchases. So far, both models have proven themselves. I don’t know your background. Are you in the gaming industry? We’re always listening to good advice on how to model a gaming company, so please send us an email with your thoughts. It’s hello@arc… you know the rest. /Björn
